Stanley

The
picture on the left was sent to PAL asking for help.
Stanley
’s mother was a neighborhood stray and had 7 kittens in his litter.
There were 3 boys left at 6 months of age and their mother was pregnant
again. According to the person who
was caring for them, there had been an upper respiratory infection that went
around the neighborhood.
Stanley
’s infection unfortunately took up residence in his eye.
His infection sat too long without treatment.
This was a simple infection that could have been treated with antibiotics
and/or ointment. The infection made
him blind in the one eye and it was very painful.
Stanley
had his eye removed the day after he was brought to PAL (02/18/05).
He was also an encryptoid (condition where one of the testes is inside
the abdomen).
Stanley
is feeling so much better now that the pain has been removed!
He was thought to be shy but now that he is no longer hurting he seems to
be extremely friendly. A great lap
cat!
Not
only does
Stanley
need a loving home of his own, PAL needs help with his expenses.
His surgery cost approximately $400.
